Delivery and Returns


Deliveries from FAKRO GB are scheduled between 8:00 and 20:00 Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays. If you need to change your delivery time or date after placing an order please call us on 01283 554755 as soon as possible and we will attempt to arrange a better date suitable for you. However, due to the nature of our schedules this is not always possible. If your order is a pallet delivery (usually a heavier item) you will receive a call prior to delivery from the courier.

Order Tracking

Once an order is placed and your goods passed to the couriers, they will contact you by email and/or SMS with tracking information. We do not use your information for any other purpose unless we have your express permission, and will not pass it to any 3rd party.

All deliveries from FAKRO GB require a signature at point of collection as proof of delivery.

We use a network of couriers for our deliveries, so the delivery type and courier will depend upon where you are in the UK and the type of product you've ordered. Please refer to our privacy policy for details.

Orders placed on roofwindows4you can be selected for local collection from our network of 100s of local merchant partners, there's sure to be one near you. You can find your nearest FAKRO merchant partner and pick up point form our merchant list here. When placing an order with you'll be given the option to collect at one of these merchant partners.

Delivery Charges

Due to the large and heavy nature of certain products we do charge for some deliveries.

Orders at a value of £350 ex vat or over are delivered FREE or can be collected FREE from a merchant partner. *With the exception of single flat roof windows.

Example delivery charges are:

  • Blinds and accessories - £9.99 ex vat
  • Roof window - £34.95 ex vat
  • Flat roof windows - £34.95 ex vat when ordering one - FREE for 2+
  • Loft ladders - FREE
  • Flashings - £17.95 ex vat
  • Collection from FAKRO GB Head Office - FREE
  • Collection from merchant partners - £34.95 ex vat

*Orders of two or more flat roof windows have FREE delivery or collection.

Delivery Times

Our standard delivery times for stock items are 3-5 working days. For non-stock items the estimated delivery time is 15-20 working days. This estimated delivery time is not guaranteed. For more information please call 0333 600 9090 or use the live chat functionality on this website.

Stock and non-stock items are marked on our product pages so you'll easily be able to calculate when your delivery should arrive.

Express Deliveries.

Our express delivery service is available on selected products for an additional charge. These items will usually be delivered within one working day (excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays) subject to stock availability of ordered before 2pm. Please note that express orders must be placed before 2pm to guarantee express delivery within the next 24 hours.

Express orders are charged at an additional £50 ex vat (not including any standard delivery charges which may have been incurred).

Orders placed on can be delivered direct to site. Please give full address details during the checkout process. We deliver Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) 8:00 - 20:00. Please ensure someone is on site to receive the goods as a signature will be required. We will deliver the goods as near as possible to the delivery address as far as a hard road permits. If we are unable to deliver goods an additional charge may be incurred.

Cancelling or Returning My Order

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have a statutory right within 30 days to return your order and receive a full refund. This does not apply to items personalised or made to your specification. These are marked for agreement within the basket process of our website. To return or amend an order, you can email or write to us at FAKRO GB LTD, FAKRO House, Astron Business Park, Hearthcote Road, Swadlincote, Derbyshire, DE11 9DW, quoting your order number.

Please note there is a 25% return charge for all items. Items exchanged for the same or greater value will not incur a returns charge. The return of items and the cost to do so is the responsibility of the customer. Please refer to our terms and conditions here.

We must receive a cancellation request with your order number to produce a returns number for you that can be placed on your products box. This helps to identify the order.

You can cancel your order anytime from placing your order up until seven working days so long as the goods have not been dispatched (not including Saturdays, Sundays or Public Holidays) commencing the day of your order. Please see our terms and conditions for details. You must take reasonable care of the items and return them back via a carrier yourself. If the item has been unpacked, we will charge a £25 repacking charge.

Returns - Any return of goods must be made within 30 working days of receipt of the goods. Any returns outside of these dates will not be accepted. Returns will not be accepted on items which have already been fitted. Please see our terms and conditions for details.
